Warren Wellbeloved

General Manager Rail, Western Australia Iron Ore

Warren Wellbeloved was appointed General Manager Rail for WA Iron Ore in 2019 and is accountable for BHP’s extensive rail operations and maintenance in the Pilbara region.

Warren started his working career in South Africa and has more than 17 years’ experience with BHP, having worked across multiple commodities, geographies and operational disciplines.

Prior to his current role, Warren was Manager Rolling Stock Maintenance in the Rail team.

Warren is passionate about supporting and developing people and is focused on enabling broader workforce engagement, development and productivity.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, post graduate qualification in Asset Management and an Master Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA and the National University of Singapore.

Warren has lived in Port Hedland with his wife and two children for more than ten years and enjoys the strong sense of community.
