Douglas Cooksey is the Principal of Cooksey Property Group, and has worked in property development and construction for over 20 years, as a consultant, builder and developer, with projects ranging from shopping centres, large format retail, industrial and mining.

Cooksey Property Group's most recent project was the development of the Tambrey Village Shopping Centre, the first major retail project in Karratha in the past 20 years. In 2024 they are planning a significant retail project in South Hedland.
