Cindy Dunham

General Manager Port, Western Australia Iron Ore

Cindy Dunham was appointed General Manager at Western Australia Iron Ore in October 2021.

Cindy is accountable for BHP’s Port Operations at Port Hedland, including our marine towage business.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in the resources industry in Australia, Asia Pacific and has led projects across mines, rail and port in many countries around the world.

Prior to joining BHP, Cindy held roles at Rio Tinto, Newmont and Fortescue Metals Group and most recently, as Global Vice President Transformation at Orica.

Cindy has a Senior Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne University.

She lives in Port Hedland with her husband Darren while her two daughters, Hannah and Jazmin have now graduated and working in the study field of psychology and law.
